After looking at the repair parts list from Sears - it looks like we must access the motor-fan through the inside of the freezer!!! How do you access and install the motor-fan of a Kenmore Upright Freezer - The freezer model is 253-9280812 and it's 10 years old (manufactured by Frigidare) The part number being replaced is 216570900.

In order to access the evaporator fan motor you have to remove the rear (evaporator) cover inside the freezer.

The part number 216570900 has been changed by the manufacturer. The new part number 5304442620 is Appliance Parts Pros part number AP3779014
