I got a new belt and idler pulley but can't figure out how to instal idler pulley to attach it to dryer. How do i put it through the slots in the floor of dryer or do I use a screw to attach? Do I use pliers to squeeze it together to go thru slots????? Please help.

The tab on the spring part of the idler pulley goes into the left slot, the bent projections on the right side of the pulley go into the right hand slot.
