I would replace the compressor start device AP4369220 and take a picture of the wiring to the old one, or make a scribble diagram of which wires went where.

The old start device doesn't look anything like the new AP4369220 device. The old one has 2 sections and 5 wires and the new one has 2 wire connections only. Help..

They shipped you a different device, look at the part on this site, shows a small, black ptc device; is that what they shipped, or a large white box?
