My GE electric dryer runs through the auto dry cycle and stops before the clothes are completely dry. I recently replaced the timer switch. The vent is clear. The heating element seems to work at the low , medium and high settings. The timed cycle works okay, but both auto cycles stop too soon, as if the moisture sensor is sensing that the clothes are dry before they really are. Any ideas ??????

Your dryer has 2 heating elements running side by side in a pan in the rear of the dryer. One of them is probably shot. Open the door and turn the dryer on. Press the door button so it will run, give it a minute, look at the backside and see if 2 rows of heating elements come on.
