Here are your parts Replacement parts for General Electric FUF14DADRWH Refrigerator | AppliancePartsPros.comIs the compressor cycling or is it running constantly except when in defrost? If it is cycling normally then odds are it is the thermostat. If running constantly. Is the evaporator (freezer) fan running? If not that may be your problem as it is required for proper cooling. Remove the cover in the unit so you can inspect the evaporator coils. If there is no frost or just frost in one area (usually where the freon enters the coils) then you have a sealed system problem. This check must be done after the unit has run for a couple hours. Doing it shortly after a defrost cycle will give improper results. If it is a sealed system problem it will be an expensive repair as you will need a pro. Often it makes more sense to put those dollars towards a new unit. |
