Our over the range microwave won't stop beeping and it has the F3 code on the display. Pressing the clear button doesn't seem to stop the beeping and we just have to turn it off by flipping the breaker. We can't find where it's plugged in.

We also notice that the microwave just seems to collect moisture when we're cooking on the range. Could this be part of the problem? Is it normal for over the range microwaves to just collect moisture or could it be a problem with the venting?

This is a control board issue

In order to replace it you have:

Remove the screws on top of the microwave holding the grille assembly on.

Slide the grille to the left to release the tabs and pull it out.

Remove the screw holding the control panel and pull it up to release the tabs and pull it toward yourself.

Draw a picture of the wires connected to the smart board and remove them.

Remove the touch pad ribbon from the smart board, remove the screws holding the smart board to the control panel.

Remove the smart board from the old control panel.

Assemble in the reversed order. Tom ApplianceEducator.com

How do I know what kind of control panel it uses and where can I purchase it?

Also, should I be concerned about the amount of moisture collecting on the microwave when using the range? Is the problem going to occur again? What caused the control panel to go bad?

I can remove the smart board but how do I get to the touchpad membrane. It seems sealed inside! Help!
