Kenmore Ultra Wash III Mod # 665.1677193 This washer is approx 10 yrs old and has been problem free until two days ago.
Recently, the dish washer would cycle up to "Quick Rinse" then NOT fill with water. The heating element comes on and it sounds like the motor is running.
Today, I was dinking around with it and the filling seems to be intermittent on all modes.. pots&pans, normal, china, water miser and quick rinse.
Manually pouring in water at this point allows the job to be finished but....
I wasn't able to find a similar problem in the archives.
Thank you for your attention. Michael~

Check for voltage across the unit's water inlet valve. If it has 120 volts and is not opening, it has gone intermittent and needs replacing. |

I did check the voltage to the inlet valve. It was good. I had also disconnected and reconnected about 1/2 dozen times incase their may have been a little corrosion. All looked very clean under the washer. I ran the wash cycles 5 or 6 times, looking for another failure to open, to check the voltage at that time. I didn't have another failure. If it fails to fill again, it looks like valve replacement would be thing. Thank you for your reply. Michael~
