For the past few months the glasses and cups on the top tray, mostly in the corners, come out with a grainy substance stuck on them. I want to open up the machine to make sure I don't have a bunch of dirt collected in the sump or at the chopper or pump. How do I get the accumulator off the top of the sump to give me access ? Should I buy any new seals or anything that I may need to put it back together ?

I assume the accumulator can be removed from the inside of the machine without having to remove it from under the counter. Correct ?
