hi -- display was really really dark so we just got the AP367441 assembly from you guys. Replacing it was easy, but now the membrane pad doesn't work, and the over "fan" seems to run all the time. I swapped back in the old part and the same problem -- no buttons, and fan seems to be running. Ribbon cable looks okay but maybe ....

i am happy to throw another part at this before I kick it.

Hi,

Check both ends of the cable for bad connections.
