The ice maker has stopped dispensing ice. The water still works and the green light is on steady, but nothing drops. The ice making tray has cubes in it, but they don't drop.

This is the problem I am also having. The cubes are being made and when trying to dispense, the auger(the screw) turns and drops the ice cubes down, but there is a type of 'flap' which is not opening and allowing the cubes to drop! What is the solution for this problem?Any help is greatly appreciated.

USEMDW....turn your icemaker off for 30 seconds, turn it back on and push the paddle back 3 times within 5 seconds, and watch to see if the icemaker does anything, takes a couple of minutes. If nothing happens replace the icemaker

Is the 'flap' supposed to be mechanised or does it just open with the weight of the ice cubes falling through it?
It does neither right now:confused:
Thanks for the advice

I too have the same problem and if I push the paddle back a few times, it will dump ice. However, it will not dump ice until I do it again. Any ideas what to do or what to replace?

Thanks!!

I am having this same issue on this same model....the flap does not open electronically or with the wait of ice cubes.

Is there a fix for this?

Yes--there was a fix to my ice maker problem. When I removed the icemaker I discovered a small spring on the white paddle had come out of position. There is a small hole that retains the spring and the spring came out of the hole.

Hope this helps.
