My Freezer is frozen, but the fridge isn't. I took all the food out and opened up some of the things in the back of the freezer and there was a little white sheet metal box I took off in the top right corner and under it, it was frozen like a brick of ice. The back where it looks like a radiator isn't frozen, but now is getting frosty while I'm in there. I defrosted the little block of ice, but not sure what to do now.

Hi tyblossom
In order to provide the most accurate advise I need the complete model number of your fridge.

The first thing make sure there is no ice left in this window. This is the way for the cold air to get into the fresh food compartment. Then check if the gate in the damper control is open. It should be open while the temperature in the fresh food compartment is warm. Replace the damper control if the gate is closed. - The part number for the damper control AP177594 The damper control Good luck. Gene.

I defrosted all that ice in the gate area which was open and now the fridge is cold again. Do you think it will just freeze up again and I need a new damper or do you think it was just a situation that happened?

Most often it happens when the doors kept open longer then it should, especially if outside id too warm.
