i have a maytag centenial washer that is just over a year old. after the spin cycle the clothes are very wet and there is about 1/2 of water in the bottom. i ran a cycle through with no clothes in it and it drained properly. then ran it again with clothes in it and it didn't drain properly. do you have any ideas how to fix this? thank you.

It is probably having trouble spinning fast enough. Check out the spin speed with a full load.
