This unit is 1 1/2 years old and I already had to replace the control panel because some of the lights would not work when the buttons were pressed. Now the same thing is happening and I guess from the posts I'm reading, not the only one with the problem. So my question is can I clean the contacts on this POS an take care of the problem, or is there more to it. Anybody want to inform me of a happy self repair they did to remedy the problem?
Thanks for any help,

Took panel off to get at controller. Re-seated all the cables and cleaned the ribbon cable for the front panel, (it was not dirty or corroded at all). Put everything back together and turned it on, well I tried to turn it on, same thing, not working.

Turned on the switch and hit start and it started, unreal. I let it fill then opened the door to add some items. When I closed the door, all the front panel lights started to flicker and then went out, but it kept running and I believe it is going to finish. Now what is going on with this thing?
