My GE Profile side by side fridge/freezer unit appears to be working well on the freezer side, but not so much on the refrig side. After reading some of these topics, I have taken off the back panel in the freezer to inspect the coils, which were frosted up but not iced over, and check the fan, which seems to be spinning as normal. However, there was limited or no airflow coming over to the fresh food side of the unit last night, and if I had to guess, I would say that it was sitting at about 60 degrees. I did note some light frost on the back panel and inside the icemaker chute on the inside of the door prior to removing. I switched the unit to the off setting and let it defrost for a couple of hours. After turning it back on, I noticed some airflow through the vent, but after running for about 10 minutes there was nothing again. This morning after letting it run overnight with the refrig temp set on max cold, that side was cool and I again noted some airflow through the vent. Any ideas as to what is keeping the refrig side from cooling to its maximum potential?
