Refrigerator side door lower hinge washer cracked and fell out. Sears says "no parts available." AppliancePartsPro lady repeated what Sears says and told us to contact Sears.
It's hard to believe this is possible and wonder if anyone has substituted a lower hinge assembly from a similar model. I'd hate to be forced to spend a grand or more to replace the washer with one installed in a new reefer....:mad:

Never mind. Your competition came up with the part in less time than it took me to register and enter my message here. I plugged in the sears model number and that site immediately took me to the common part failure section and there it was.
No slight or criticism of this site intended. If the parts lady had been the least bit friendly and helpful (the same part I bought was recommended for a similar side by side on here) I would have bought here. I even mentioned "Gene" had come up with a similar solution for a model with almost the same model number but she ignored it and just kept repeating "you have to contact Sears." :( One frustrating experience doesn't mean much so I'll be back for the next problem since shipping is only one day from LA.
