Hello everyone;
just rescued a GE moblie maid dishwasher; from being destroyed in the trash yesterday...model #LSP40S2,..Serial#WS7-00059,..its painted "Baby girl PINK!!"
how cute''.....its completely intact with the dishracks,..what year was this washer made? i did find an old magazine add from "mother's Day 1959'..
online that fits it to a tee! on google,..i need all or any still available paperwork or microfiche that can be got for the restoration of this portable 50 year old dishwasher that might still work i have too fix the top
lid is warped slightly and it wont stay shut!! thats propably why they stopped using it..because it would'nt seal shut during operation and sling water everywhere,..I'll have to disassemble it ,and refinish the cabinet.because of rust and gobbs of different color paints on the top of it..the guy who owned it was a sign painter by trade and used it for an easel to paint signs on...HEE,HEE...any help with this project is greatly
appreciated,...
