well i took the belt off and motor still acts the same. in agitate mode it just hums. if i spin the pully, then the motor takes off. of course with belt on i cant do that. so far i ve replaced the capacitor twice, the motor and i still have the problem. (sent the new motor back). i just dont understand how the motor can kick in fine on spin, but dont have the stuff to start in the agitate mode. whats stopping it? the trany seems stiff to spin by hand.either way... but what do i know? the motor has no problem moving it on spin. Anybody got any ideas? thanks KRF
