I just received my replacement switch I ordered on line from AppliancePartsPros.com
I need some help understanding the directions sent with the switch. What is meant by " On units with a compound connection....." and "On units with an L2 piggyback connection"? Can someone offer any interpretation? I having trouble understanding where the lead lines (Black and Red) connect on the new switch. AppliancePartsPro sent me part number 16023363 as the replacement dual burner switch for my Jenn-air CVE3400W. Can anyone offer any assistance?

Merry Christmas

Nat, you are correct they did send me a 12002125. I had copied the instruction sheet number. So can you tell me where I should connect the red and black wire that supply the power? I think I have the others figured out but I will accept any information anyone can offer?

I just went thru this problem.
There are TWO possible switch replacement parts.
one is 12002422 and was my correct replacement number.
12002125 was the WRONG part..would not work no matter how you wired it.

the failed switch being replaced was part number 7403p406-60.
7403p851-60 will NOT work.
my serial # was 12284711qz

call Jen air customer support and give your serial # and switch part # to get the correct part and diagram... Jenn air changed parts and wiring in the middle of a run.
