Ice maker suddenly stopped working. Have found that the voltage to the ice maker is 60 volts. The information I have say it should be 120 volts. Have checked out the maker and it does not respond to any wire jumps to trigger water etc. What do you suggest to verify if a part needs replaced.

Remove and unplug the ice maker. Test between the pins in the connector that correspond with the black and white wires in the harness for 120VAC. If you do get the correct voltage at the connector, the ice maker is bad. Part number: AP4360427

I have done exactly what you suggest. I am checking voltage at the connector with the ice maker disconnected and the voltage is 60 volts.

It sounds like your problem is in the PCA (control board). It is located inside the control console. Part number: AP4981918

Thank you for your help. I have the repair manual and do not see where the "control console" is located. Could you please let me know where this is at.

Just to add my 2 cents... You may want to check the status of the LED on the right side of the freezer door frame. Open the freezer door and close the emitter door on the left side. Make sure there is nothing obstructing the optic beam from side to side and check the LED. If it's blinking then the optic PC boards (#26 & #38 on the diagram) have to be replaced. - The PC board kit Part number: AP3137510

Gene. I have check that status and the LED and it responds correctly with a solid light. Where do I go from here. Both sides of the refrigerator are working fine. I checked another frig. I have and it puts out 120 volts at the ice maker. HELP!

Sorry for the delay.
Try to do the following test:
1. Jump test points “T” to “H”.
2. Make sure the ice bin is on the door, the IDI slide is “on,” and both doors are closed.
3. Unplug the unit, or turn off the power for 10 seconds, and then reapply power (it's better if the compressor is not running at that time).
4. After 10 seconds, open and close the freezer door.
5. After 15 seconds, open the freezer door. The ice maker should be running.
6. Remove the jumper from test points “T” to “H”.
Post the results.
