Hi --
We have a side-by-side refrigerator about 10 years old. The ice/water dispensers have never been connected to water.
For a while now we've seen occassional water drips down the front of the door below the water/ice dispenser.
Just yesterday we discoverd a pool of water (about 3/4 of a cup or more) on the floor in front of the freezer door. I suspect it had been sitting there for less than an hour when we discovered it. Since then, we've seen just drips.
The water appears to be coming from the ice dispenser flap, but I don't see any condensation inside the freezer or inside the ice catch-thing on the door leading to the flap. The flap seal is wet.
I haven't noticed anything else unusual about the freezer. I will check the fan, the drain hole, and the door seals when I get home tonight.
Any ideas? Thanks for any suggestions.

More info on my problem...
I cleaned the coils, checked the fan, the door seals, the electrical plug, checked that the fridge was tilted back slightly to ensure the door was always closing securely. None of these things seemed to be a problem.
I also stuck a wedge against the ice dispenser flap to try to get it to form a tighter seal (we don't use the ice maker anyway).
Today, I see a small drip of water on the bottom of the flap door and it's moist all around the flap. I put a paper towel inside the freezer next to the flap to see if it would collect moisture--it's dry.
I now suspect I have a bad seal on the flap, but I really can't understand why it would all of a sudden drip about 3/4 of a cup of water, as it did (once)the other night. Maybe I have more than one problem?
