What is the difference between a Kenmore front load washer, model # 970-C40042-00 and the same machine model # 970-G44102-00 ?????

I'll check.
But just a quick note Kenmore doesn't make anything, they are all made by other manufacturers.

The second model numver doesn't come up so can't compare them.

Sorry can't pull that one up either. But most often the different numbers are just different changes, possibly a different timer.
