Hi;
The part in my fridge has mounting holes about 3 1/4" apart. The shaft is off-center - about 1' from the bottom mounting hole. I'm not familiar with the P# or what it signifies.

That is the same as the picture for this item on this site. The "P" number is on the name plate near the model #, just look for it. If no "P" number, the manufacturer may have never changed the design in the year the item was manufactured.

You might have to order a universal control for this AP3512625, comes with instructions.
