Temperature dropped to zero and the compressor fan stopped turning, so the first thing I replaced was the motherboard and the fan did start running again, but the fridge never cooled down.

Been working on this fix for a little over a week now and still can't get the compressor to turn on.

Replaced motherboard, run capacitor, start/relay and still nothing but clicking and a hot compressor.

Did the multi-meter to test on the compressor pins and the results were 5 and 7, so it seems like I'm still in the correct range for the run and start winding. Right?

Feel like I'm just throwing money at this thing with no results, but don't want to call a repair man because it is about 5 years old with no extended warranty.

Willing to tackle a full compressor replacement ($299) but want to make sure this would fix the issue.

Anything else I can test?

With all these parts new and the compressor still not working there is nothing left but the compressor.

I do not recommend to replace the compressor yourself. Such job required a special knowledge, a special tools and equipment and, most of all, a special license to work with Freon.
