I have a dryer (whirlpool) that has a 4 prong cord. The house I just moved into has a 3 prong outlet. I bought a 3 prong cord to change it but when I took the back off the dryer I found that the existing cord has plastic quick connect fittings instead of the standard stud, eyelet, nut fittings. What can I do or where can I find a plug with the plastic quick connect fittings? I have found out that this model (ygew9877jq1) is a Canadian made model. The only part I can find for it is part #: AP3044031. Any advice would be appreciated.

You might consider buying a wiring block kit to replace the existing one.
Part number: AP3094140
