My dryer gets hot at first, but then eventually stops blowing hot air after a few minutes. As a result, it's not drying. The ducts are clear and I have good air flow. I removed the bottom front panel. The heating element begins to glow, the flame starts and gets hot, but then after a few minutes the flame goes out and does not come back on. The glow bar continues to glow every few minutes, but never lights again. It seems to me like maybe it is a thermostat or coil problem. When the dryer is cool, it lights fine. But after warming up, it stops lighting the flame. Can someone help or suggest a part? Many thanks. I was looking at these coils: http://www.appliancepartspros.c...86&diagram_id=111316

The problem with your dryer are a bad coils. No doubt about it and you found the right part number. Keep us posted.

It's been months now, but I did want to follow up that replacing the coils worked. It took me about 15 minutes start to finish once I had the parts. Thanks!
