Hello,
My dishwasher is not doing a good job washing and I notice that after the cycle is completed, the soap dispenser is open, but a fair amount (maybe 50-80% of the soap remains in the dispenser. Also, I have noticed a white film on utensils (especially black ones).
Please let me know what the likely problem is and any remedy.

A model number would help Two most likely are clogged filters so it just cannot build up enogh pressure and low water level Most units fill to just under the heating element. Most common cause of low fill is dirty filter screen on the input side of the water valve. If this is the case clean it, do not remove it, it keeps crud out of the valve which might keep it open and cause a flood. This may help http://www.applianceaid.com/dishwash.html |
