I have a Frigidaire Dishwasher that was never installed properly because no one wanted to mess up our granite counter tops. I would like to order the side mount kit (Part Number: AP3555526 Made by Frigidaire). I believe this will work for my model, but just want to know IF my dishwasher can be side-mounted with the granite counter tops already installed, and HOW I can install it (instructions would be appreciated!). Thanks.

Sorry I do not have access to the install sheet. The side mount kit should work for your unit but you will have to uninstall the dishwasher to install the kit. Another possibility is to use a couple long screws and then screw the back bottom of the frame down to the floor. If you have to use a washer under the screw's head make sure it is nice and thick. Also use a hex head screw/lag so that you can use a ratchet on it. You may be able to do this without having to uninstall the unit just be sure to unplug or remove power from it when working on it.
