Top oven does not heat, neither broils nor bakes. Is a three-year-old Whirlpool Convection Double Oven Model (electric), All lights come on. Bottom oven works fine.

Prior to this problem, the entire oven display did not light. Fixed it by having the control panel replaced, and then discovered the top oven will not heat. I hope to solve this one myself.

Any suggestions on where to start? Thanks for the help.

check wiring on board make sure all connected or


OVEN SHUTDOWN THERMAL FUSE
The oven shutdown thermal fuse
is located at the back of the oven.
It will shut down the elements if the
temperature at the back of the oven
exceeds component limits.
Verify that the oven shutdown thermal fuse is okay.
To replace this thermal fuse, refer to chart at right for
correct part number.

Appreciate the advice, but you refer to "a chart on the right" for the part number. I do not see a chart. There is a list of numbers below, but if it is part numbers I don't understand it. Thanks.

yes it didnt copy and paste properly pretend i said bottom or pretend instead of it being on the bottom its on the right ...........just ohm out the thermastat that will tell you if its good or bad
