I was replacing the receptacles that the burner eye fits into. Now the down draft fan comes on when I turn on the eye. Burner does not heat up to HI unless I turn fan motor to HI. This has never happened before and I do not know why it's doing it now or how to make it stop. HELP??

As you can see from the wiring diagram (attached to the reply) one of the burner switches turns on the fan together with the burner. It has been designed this way for a grill cartridge which can be used instead of a regular one.

Here are the break down diagrams for the Jenn Air range Model 88370

thanks for confirming that my repairman didn't know what he was doing. I'll see if I can find a jenn air repair shop to come fix it right.
