Freezer is starting to ice up the refrigerator is not cooling food any ideas?? thanks in advance Ike..

That is a defrost problem. Remove the rear panel in the freezer and located the defrost heater that's the most common part to go out. If it's discolored inside the glas tube or doesn't Ohm out then replace that part.
You have use a hair dryer to thaw everything for a temp fix.

removed the back panel its packed with ice ,about a week a go I cleaned the freezer real good would that cause it to ice up?? it was left open for a while.also where would the glass tube be ? top or bottom Thanks alot...

The glass tube should be below the evaporator coils behind the rear panel in the freezer. And leaving the freezer open while cleaning could have started the problem.

Will defrosting it with a hair dryer stop the problem? if it's not the glass tube .. thank you .. ike..

A hair dryer can help for a week or so, but you will need to figure out which part is bad and replace it for a complete fix.
