Does anyone know where I can get a service manual for this 2 yr old washer?

Rich,

Looks like a basic "Duet" front load washer.

What seems to be wrong ? may be I could help ?

We can't copy and or send from the system, makes things rough sometimes.

:) :) :)

The washer flashes a F71 code and the motor will not run. Diagnostics says to check ccu and communication lines. I suspect a bad connection
All the unit will do now is beep when you press the on button, no lights go on.

Rich,

You have it coverred, a communication error.

A quick check, disconnect the motor control harness from the CCU, if the code disappears, bad motor control board or loose connection. if the code stays bad, CCU.

Thanks Joe, I heard of that test before, but the washer is really dead now, nothing displayed. Anyway, told customer to get a repair site that has access to factory advice.

Rich,

Well, you tried, if it's a "goner" I would presume the CCU gave up. I wish ServiceMatters was a bit more "friendly". I should have downloaded as much as possible before they went to a "proprietary" web site.
