After my recent success with our washer, I thought I try my hand at the ice make in our fridge. It's got the freezer on top, and the ice make one day was overflowing with water. I shut the water off, and the ice make continues to work: the teeth move, etc., but if I turn the water on it will just flow in and not stop.

Ideas? We bought it in '99, so should I just replace the whole ice maker? Thanks!

Splumer,

You most likely have a water inlet valve problem, sounds like the solenoid stuck open. We could be of more assistance with a complete model number(11 digits).

Good Luck,
:) :) :)
