My dishwasher pump appears to not be working... the unit fills with water, heats it, drains, etc but will not "run". How do I determine what is wrong with the pump?

Eric,

Remove the bottom panel and check if the circulation motor is working while the control calls for wash.

If it's making a humming noise then the motor is bad.

If it's silent, disconnect the wires from the motor and check for 120 VAC between them. If the voltage is correct, the motor is bad.

Gene,

Thank you so much for your response. I have determined that the motor assembly is bad based on your recommendations and ordered a replacement. Thank you again for your help! :)
