I just received and installed an LP conversion kit for my gas dryer. Now it doesn't heat at all. I have tried the procedure outlined in the directions: to turn the timer to "off" and wait 5 minutes and then try again. I have tried it several times. I have taken the dryer back apart to make sure all of the connections have been made correctly. As far as I can tell, they have.

When I peek in through the little viewport at the bottom, I don't see any activity. I can't tell if the ignition coil is warming at all.

Thanks in advance for any help.

As an additional note: this dryer was working just fine prior to the installation of the LP kit.

What is the complete model number of the dryer?

You may want to start the troubleshooting from the igniter. Check it for continuity.

- The igniter Part number: AP3674313
Part number: AP3674313

Should I start by putting the old igniter back in? The kit came with its own igniter, which is different from the one pictured. The old one was like that. The new one is in a spiral pattern, and has a different mount, which goes with the different burner unit.

What is the part number of the kit and how did you find it?

The part number is AP3572301. I found and ordered it through Appliance Part Pros via the model number of the dryer.

Part Details - FRIGIDAIRE Lp Conversion Kit, part number: AP3572301

The part number is correct. Possible the igniter got damaged during the installation. You have to check it for continuity.
