I received a water valve assembly today (WR57X10032) , but there were no instructions. I did order a compression ring. The website said that it "has new style push on fittings for water outlet lines. Water inlet fitting is a screw on compression." I ordered a ring compression (WR02X12149).

So, can someone explain how I connect the water lines to the water valve?

Thanks!

Well, I didn't receive a response here, but I was able to visit YouTube and watch someone replace the valve in a refrigerator just like mine. I was confused about how the water lines stayed in the valve without some sort of nut or something. It appears that it is a pressure fit and that the water lines will just 'stay' in the device.

I replaced the valve and I now have water through my dispenser. It turned out to be an easy fix.
