Our dishwasher, model # GU1500XTLS1, leaked water all over the kitchen floor. The problem was water continued to flow through the water inlet on the side of the wash chamber. We removed the the pump underneath, Part #8268589/REL, and first cleaned and repaired the seal, thinking the seal might be bad, letting water slip by it, even when the water was supposed to be off during a cycle. Well, the water no longer leaked in, but it also didn't flow in during cycles, either. So we replaced the pump and bled the lines, but the water still won't flow in during cycles. Yes, we have water to the dishwasher. Could the replacement pump be defective. Any other suggestions? Thanks....

Denman: Thanks for the reply. We found we could release the float switch manually, but it wasn't doing it on its own. So I'm ordering a replacement switch. Thanks for your help. I'll advise how it turns out.
