The first thing to check is if water is coming to the fill valve. Turn the water off at the faucets. Disconnect the hoses from the machine. place each hose end into a bucket and turn the water on just enough to see that water is freely flowing through the hose. Before you reconnect the hoses, look at the inlet valve to see if it is clogged up with debris. This is very common. If the inlet valve is clogged enough that it isn't allowing water to flow into your machine, it needs to be replaced. You may be able to clean out the screens at the hose connections, but in doing so, it is possible to get some debris into the valve itself, and this could cause a flood. Before you do any of this, listen to your machine. Do you hear a faint hum when you select a cycle and pull out on the dial? This could be the inlet valve trying to let water through.
