Dryer won't start..I have an electric dryer just over one year old. I hear a humming noise then a crackling noise if I hold the start button down. The light and the safety switch both work. I tore the machine apart to a degree but I can't find the fusable link. I held the switch in and turned the drum but nothing happens. HELP please...

Unfortunately sounds like your motor is shot.
Would help if you can identify where the crackling was coming from as this sounds like electrical arcing.
Give the motor a sniff if it smells burnt, it's probably shot.
