Control Lock - flashing L How do i reset / repair?
I powered off my Dishwasher to replace a leaking input water line, tilted my machine on its side and replaced the water line, i uprighted the machine and restored power. As soon as i touched the display panel a flashing "L" displayed along with a light lit next too, not above the Heated Dry indicator, it looks like a lock and flash with the "L" and then stays lite after the flashing stops.
I have replaced the Door latch assy thinking that may be the problem but still have the same problem.
I ran the Field Service Test and it successful complete I ran the Sales Floor Demo Mode and it successful complete
But when i ran the Manual Function Test it would not let me select any of the specific test and would just show the Flashing "L".....

WR, Since it seems you have a meter and the tech date sheet, check your keypad ribbons and keypad for a stuck or intermittent circuit. You could also clean the insertion end of the ribbon and the board connection, with alcohol, and re insert the ribbon tightly. Otherwise, you'd have a bad control board. Part number: AP4009230
There are three(3) different controls for your unit, depending on the serial / series number. Good Luck, :) :) :)
