Dryer will only operate when temp is set to delicate (low). Other temp settings (medium & High) will allow Cool down of cycle to function.
replaced the temp setting switch with no success fixing original problem.
Repairman that was out to fix washer checked the dryer and said the cycle selector (timer) was bad and needed replacing. When replaced, still have same problem.
Dryer still runs like new other wise.
Can ya help??!!

Here is your wiring diagram
https://www.servicematters.com/d...0Sheet%20-%203406692.pdf

From your post
Low heat: dryer runs and does give some heat re: low
Medium and High: dryer runs but there is no heat at all
Is the above correct?

Have you tried different settings re: timed dry etc.?
Try the different timer and heat combination's, this may help troubleshoot the problem.

DENMAN
The dryer functions properly and heats on the low (Delicate temp setting.
When the temp selector switch is set to meddium or high temp positions, the dryer does not operate at all. No Tumble no heat nothing.
Have tried in the past to set temp to medium or high and hold the start switch while turning the cycle selector. Only time Tumbling would occur on medium or high was during cool down on timed cycle. The heating elements are not used during this phase I would assume.
Note: The temp selector switch and Cycle/Timer module have been replaced.

PS--Thanks for the wiring diagram link!

Dryer does not operate on Medium or High.

Setting temp selector to medium or high, holding start switch down, and turning cycle selctor, the dryer will tumble when in cool down on timed dry only.

Dryer function properly when using low heat setting. Of course, drying towels takes a wee bit longer!

Found reason for Dryer to operate on low temp setting only.
Wiring from Temperature Selector switch to the Timer Module were reversed.
Dryer is totally functional now.
DENMAN thanks again for the wiring diagram.
