We have a Maytag 5000 series washer, #MHWE500VW11. Recently we had a power outage and since then we get an error message Suds followed by F35 when attempting to do a load of laundry. We have to turn the power off to let the water drain, unplug the washer, wait for 10 minutes and then plug it back in. Sometimes this works and sometimes we get the same error message.

We don't have the owner's manual. Any suggestions?

Thank you

Look under the top or inside the lower service panel and you should find some tech notes that will tell you how to interpret the error codes and how to put the machine into a diagnostic mode. Unfortunately I cannot link you to tech info on this model because Maytag won't let us anymore.
