My whirlpool duet washer is leaking from the bottom. I have removed the door and discovered the big black hose that goes from the soap dispenser into the tub is disconnected. It actually looks torn in the area where it connects to the tub. (Like the washer part of it is broken). Anyone know which part number the hose would be?

Thanks!

Mel,

A proper model number would have been more help,

Here are some parts you may need based on your basic description,

if the hose is attached to the dispenser and attaches to the outer tub assembly a few inches back from the tub cover(front of tub) this should be the hose you may need,

Part number: AP3128822
Part number: AP3128822

If it attaches to the dispenser and then attaches to the tub cover, where the water enters the tub and washes over the door glass, these parts will work.

Part number: AP3128707
Part number: AP3128707

Part number: AP3128707
Part number: AP3128707

Part number: AP3128709
Part number: AP3128709

I'm not sure if you had something stuck between the tubs or an on going off balanced load issue.

Good Luck,
:) :) :)

Ok It looks exactly like the first hose. Any clue as to how to attach it to the tub? And THANKS!

Mel,

Since the hose is an "air Vent, and is located on the top of the tub, it is basically a "friction fit".
Grasp the hose as close to the tub as possible, squeeze the hose together with you fingers, pull up and work the hose out of the opening. To install the new hose, reverse the process, (A drop or 2 of liquid detergent or soap, will help to seat the new hose in the tub opening, but not too much). Remeber, not to twist or kink the hose, when you attach it to the dispenser assembly then secure the hose with the clamp.
