When I turn the oven on the control panel is bright and normal. As the heating progresses the control panel light becomes dimmer and dimmer and fades away. What can we do to fix this? Thanks, Kathy

Unfortunately most of the time it is the Electronic oven control assembly which has to be replaced (Item 3 in the Control panel section.

JennAire's have a lot of problems with this.
The capacitors they use on the board go bad, leak internally, lowering the voltage to the display and the display dims.

Perhaps someone else knows a trick or kit that will at least extend the life of your control board.
