My dryer won't start. It just quit working all of a sudden. The light inside is still working. When you press the start button, it sounds like it's clicking and wants to start. Anyone know where I should start?

Unfortunately this could be one of several problems. First use a meter to check that you have 120v to each side of the connection block. Then check the start switch, and the thermostats/thermal fuses and any other thermal device in the machine.

See if the drum turns freely, if not the problem may be a broken belt which is jamming things. Finally, you will want to test the motor.

Here is a service manual which will help you out.
