I just purchased a new control board from you and installed it. However, when I put the board in and turned the unit back on nothing would show up on the LED screen. There were no "---" or anything so I could not select a model and set up the board. In addition any button I press simply beeps with no response. Please advise. - John

Hi John,

The replacement control board will always enter into the test mode t01 on initial power-up. If there is no "---" on the display, double check the control board installation. If there is nothing wrong, then the new control board is probably defective and has to be exchanged.

Gene.
P.S. What was the original problem with the washer?

Thanks for responding Gene. Control board is right. There is no lights on any of the selectors. Totally dark. When you push a button it just beeps.

Previously the old board I replaced just froze. I could get it to go into test mode or anything. I check to see if there was power coming into the board at the P1 plug and there was. So that is when I decided to change out the board. The only other thing I did was I clean out the drain filter while I was at it. That's about it. Everything else seems to be ok, but I could never get it to run a test mode. Unless I hear something new, I plan on shipping board back tomorrow and see if that is the problem. Seems strange I would get a bad brand new board, but maybe not. Again thanks for help and let me know if there is something else you can think of I am missing.
