I had turned on the self cleaning mode. When the oven was done cleaning and went into the cooling down mode, the readout went to E1 F-5. I cannot get the oven to unlock. I cannot get it to turn on or anything. I have shut off the power to the oven from the main breaker - but that did not help. What part has gone out?:confused:

Here is your parts breakdown Model SearchHere is a good link, check out #1, yours looks like the motor type of lock buy the wiring diagram calls it a solenoid so I am unsure which it is. http://www.applianceaid.com/elecrange.htmlAnd here is the tech sheet https://www.servicematters.com/d...0Sheet%20-%208053304.pdfIf the sensor goes open the unit thinks it is still hot so the door will not open. Sensor should measure approximately 1000 ohms at room temperature. If you cannot figure out how to open it perhaps try private mailing or email to his site, Kayakcrzy, he knows how to open just about everything |
