I have searched this forum on how to install the thermal cut-off kit 279816, but have not found a topic for my particular model. My original lower high limit thermostat has a small two wire clip on that runs to the lower left thermistor. I do not have an orange wire. Does anyone know if this kit is correct, or know how to install it?

Here are your parts Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL WED6200SW0 29"ELECTRIC DRYER | AppliancePartsPros.comClick on the parts picture (item 9 in Section 3) a new page will open. You will see questions, click on the "read all 36 questions and answers" and then click on the question and the answer will come up. Perhaps one of them will help. See the attachment for the install sheet that comes with the kit just in case you do not have it. Also have you determined what blew the cut-off? If you replace it without finding a cause odds are it will just blow again. |

My switch does not look like that. mine looks like this. The top left has two wires that run to a thermistor directly below thermal fuse. There is no location on the new switch i have to add wires to.
