Hi my washer fill water and then doesn't agitate, the washer stop and make a noise. I move the selector ahead and the other cycle work perfect. I would like to know want is the problem? thank u.

Since the washer will function correctly if you move the timer, I would start by replacing the timer and see if that fixes things.
