My oven wont bake, but the broiler works. When I turn it on, nothing happens.. Is there a part I can try replacing before buying a new oven?

A model number may help others help you.

Hotpoint is GE so getting tech info on this unit may be difficult.
GE likes to keep everything a secret.

The model number for my hotpoint oven is RGB746DEP. Any information on what part I may need would be greatly appreciated! Like I said, the broiler and the range work, just doesnt work on the bake setting..
Thank, Jennifer

You may want to re-post with the model number.

I do not mess with gas units and if the forum is busy other regular posters will not check out posts that have already been looked at by another regular
