Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 6/3/2011(UTC) Posts: 1		side by side, frig and freezer not cooling, opened the back, fan is not working, don't hear anything else on (like the compressor), the lights work though, and i vacumed all the dust out, what could be the problem?

I could not find any info on the given model number but did find the above. Here are the parts for the unit I could find. Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL ED22TWXDW02 REFRIGERATORS \| AppliancePartsPros.com Sounds like you may be stuck in a defrost cycle. The compressor, the condenser/compressor fan and the evaporator fan all will be off. Try forcing it out of defrost by turning the defrost timer (Item 6 in Section 11) cam with a screw driver. It only can be turned one direction also there is usually a hole in the control cover to let you do this. If the unit fires up you need a new timer.
